Charge Point Installation Grants

The government provides grants for charge point installations in most circumstances.

We are OZEV authorised installers and can access these grants saving money on your installation.

THE WORKPLACE CHARGING SCHEME (WCS)

The Workplace Charging Scheme is a voucher-based scheme that provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle chargepoints for eligible businesses, charities and public sector organisations.

Businesses can be eligible for up to £350 per charge point with a maximum of 40 charge points, meaning a total grant of £14,000 could be available.

WCS GRANT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 

Can declare a need for electric vehicle charging equipment or an intent to encourage up take among their staff and / or fleet.

Dedicated off street parking for staff and  / or fleet.

Own the property or have consent from the landlord for charge points to be installed at all the sites listed in the application.

Applicants must maintain the charge point for a minimum of three years and ensure measures are in place to provide usage data to OZEV (SMART Charge Points).

ELECTRIC VEHICLE HOMECHARGE SCHEME (EVHS)

Now is a great time to go electric. Currently there are grants in place to help those eligible save money as they help save the environment. You could receive up to £350 per SMART chargepoint for up to two vehicles per household.

EVHS GRANT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

You must have a designated private off street parking space.

You must have taken ownership of a new or second hand eligible electric vehicle (as long as you have not claimed against previous charge point schemes).

You have been assigned an Electric Vehicle company car for at least six months per year.

You can prove you have ordered an eligible electric vehicle and the vehicle will be received.

The Electric Vehicle must be eligible and appear on one of the OZEV eligibility lists.

You must use an OZEV approved installer.

All EV charge points installed under the EVHS must be SMART Charge Points.
